Apostrophe

Elliot Necklace

Elliot NecklaceI'm a sucker for cute little creatures, but as I'm getting older, I've started leaning toward slightly more sophisticated versions of cute little creatures. What I love about this necklace is that the artist has somehow managed to create something that can be worn in a completely casual or uncasual way...that's not an easy thing to do. It's cute without being cutesy.

Made by a company called Figs and Ginger, it's available in two versions—Dark Patina and Brushed Silver. And part of what encouraged me to include the Elliot Necklace on apostrophe is that Figs and Ginger is trying to be as earth friendly as they can. All the silver and gold they use has been either recycled or reclaimed, they're "using earth friendly jewelry tools & products," they recycle, all their literature is printed on recycled paper with soy ink, etc. You get the picture. If only everyone were so good about these things.
